Privacy

What gets collected, why, and who it's shared with. Plain language, no legalese.

The subscribe form

Subscribing to the weekly briefing collects an email address, a first name, and an optional role (the role is used only to make the briefing more relevant, never shown publicly). That data goes to Beehiiv, the subscriber list of record, and Resend, which sends a short welcome email after signup. Neither vendor sees anything beyond what is entered in the form. No password is set and no account is created; unsubscribing is a link in every email.

Analytics

Page views are measured with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookie-free and does not identify individual visitors: it counts visits and popular pages in aggregate. No other analytics, ad tracker, or cross-site pixel runs on the site.

Stored in your browser only

Theme choice (light or dark), recently-viewed pages, reading progress through the foundations chapters, and quiz results are all stored in your browser's local storage. None of it is sent to a server or visible to anyone else; clearing your browser data clears it.

What is not done

Subscriber data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. No third-party marketing or retargeting pixels run on the site. No data is used to train AI models.

Access and deletion

To see what is on file, correct it, or have it deleted, email cliff@suit-up.info. Unsubscribing removes the address from Beehiiv; a deletion request removes it from Resend's send history too.
