Ondo Finance Appoints Former Blockchain.com CFO Adam Schlisman as Finance Chief

Key points

  • Ondo Finance appointed Adam Schlisman as CFO on 5 August 2026, drawing him from macro hedge fund Monashee Investment Management where he most recently held the same title.
  • Schlisman previously served as CFO at Blockchain.com and spent nearly a decade at Graham Capital Management in portfolio management and risk roles.
  • Ondo's platform has surpassed $3.5 billion across its tokenised product suite, with Ondo Stocks alone exceeding $1 billion in TVL.
  • The firm operates on Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain and counts Binance, Bitget, MetaMask, Ledger and Blockchain.com among its integration partners.
  • The CFO hire coincides with a separately reported evaluation of a potential acquisition valued at between $250 million and $500 million, pointing to accelerating balance-sheet ambition.

Ondo Finance has named Adam Schlisman as its chief financial officer, bringing in an executive whose recent roles span macro hedge fund Monashee Investment Management and Blockchain.com, where he oversaw finance, treasury and risk during a high-growth period. Earlier in his career, Schlisman spent nearly a decade at Graham Capital Management in portfolio management and risk functions. The appointment was announced on 5 August 2026.

The hire arrives as Ondo, founded in 2021 by former Goldman Sachs executives, reports more than $3.5 billion across its tokenised product suite and describes its Ondo Stocks product as having crossed $1 billion in total value locked (TVL). The platform operates across Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain and is integrated with counterparties including Binance, Bitget, MetaMask, Ledger and Blockchain.com. Schlisman’s stated mandate is to build financial operations capable of matching the firm’s institutional scaling ambitions, citing growth in Ondo Perps and ongoing work with infrastructure providers including the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as indicators that tokenised markets are transitioning from early adoption to institutional scale.

The CFO appointment also lands against a broader strategic backdrop: CoinDesk reported separately that Ondo is evaluating a potential acquisition in the range of $250 million to $500 million. Taken together, the signals suggest Ondo is constructing the internal financial infrastructure typically associated with a firm preparing for significantly larger balance-sheet activity, whether through organic growth, inorganic moves, or both.
